Demi Gene Moore is an American TV and Film actress professionally known as Demi Moore. Born on 11th November, 1962, she started her acting career from soap opera named “General Hospital”.

Career Highlights

In 1981, Moore made her film debut “Parasite” a movie based on science-fiction and later in her career played some leading roles in movies like “St. Elmo’s Fire” (1985), “Ghost” (1990), “A Few Good Men” (1992), “Indecent Proposal” (1993), and “Disclosure” (1994).

These movies turned out to be successful and she climbed up the ladder of success to be counted among the highest paid Hollywood actresses. “Ghost” proved to be her most successful movie of all times and it earned her a Golden Globe nomination in the category of Best Actress-Motion Picture or Comedy and Saturn Award for Best Actress.

She was nominated twice for MTV Movie Award in the categories of Best Female Performance and Most Desirable Female in “Indecent Proposal” (1993) and “Disclosure” (1994).

Throughout her career she played all kinds of roles, her negative roles in “Disclosure” and “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” (2003) brought her two MTV Movie Award nominations in the category of best villain.

Later in 2006 her role of Virginia Fallon in movie “Bobby” earned her nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the 13th Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also tried her hand at directing a movie “Streak” (2008) was her first movie as a director.

She also lent her voice in animated movie “The Hunchback of Notre Dame II” (2002) and got her name in the DVD Exclusive Awards nominations in the category of Best Animated Character Performance.
