Arthur Antunes Coimbra or more popularly known to be Zico was born on the 3rd of March, 1953. He is known to be a former Brazilian football player and a coach to the team as well.

Presently, he is serving his services as the head coach to the National football team of Iraq in the early 80’ico was considered to be among the finest players and is also known for his passes and skillful finishes. In the history of football, the name of Zico is known as a free-kick specialist who can bend the game ball at every pace.

In his professional career, he played about 72 international matches as a part of the Brazilian team and scored 52 goals. He also represented his team in the World Cup tournaments held in the years 1978, 1982 as well as 1986.

In the years 1981 and 983, Zico was referred to be the Player of the Year and in the year 2004, he was also added among the 125 Greatest Living Footballers by Pele. He was the head coach of the national football team of Japan when it participated in the FIFA World Cup of 2006 in addition to becoming the coach of the Japanese team when it won the Asian Cup in the year 2004.

After this, he was the head coach of the CSKA Moscow in the year 2009. In 2010, Zico announced to become the Executive Director of Soccer Flamengo after which he won most of his titles and honors.
