Red Star Belgrade is a Serbian professional football league team located in the city of Belgrade of Serbia. The club was founded on March 4, 1945, and currently playing in the top Serbian league “SurbianSuperliga”.

VladanLukic is the President of the club while Robert Prosinecki is the current head coach of Red Star Belgrade. The club plays home games at the Stadium CrvenaZvezda with a capacity of 56,000 spectators.

Red Star Belgrade football club, well known as Zvezda (The Star) and Crveno-beli (The Red-Whites), plays home games in Red and White combination jersey while away games in Blue jersey with blue shorts.

The Stars are regarded as the most successful teams in Serbia mostly ranked in the top four. They are the only Serbian football club that has won the European and World Champions in 1991, the European Cup, and the International Cup.

Red Star Belgrade is also the only Serbian league football team that has won an international title in the history of Serbian football. They are ranked 26 along with Feyenoord football club on the international level according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.

Red Star Belgrade won the first national title “SFR Yugoslavia Champions” in 1951, winning 25 times in total; a record league wins by any club in the entire history of Serbian Football.

The Red Stars are the inventors of fast play in Serbian football history and are famous for their fast, attacking play, especially during the times of 1970s and 1980s when the team enjoyed the best spell of dominance and triumph many trophies on the national and international level. Today, Red Star Belgrade enjoys a great reputation among the football world and utter devotion from its legions of fans.
