Tehmina Durrani was born into a very rich and dominant Afghan family on 18th February, 1953. Her family was also very educated, which resulted in Tehmina’s independent spirit. At the age of 17 she was betrothed to Anees Khan, giving birth to her daughter Tania, but the couple divorced and she married Ghulam Mustafa Khar.
Pitras Bukhari, whose full name was Syed Ahmed Shah, was born in 1898 on the 1st of October. Peshawar was his birth place. Pitras Bukhari is popular for his humorous writing; his funny literature is the main reason for his fame. His writings are humorous, amusing and entertaining. Pitras was not only an author but also a teacher and a scholar in true sense of the word. He was not only a humorist but he also worked in the education sector. Other than playing the role of an educator, he wrote several essays which led him to be known as an excellent essayist. He also put his broadcasting skills to use. He was appointed by the Government of Pakistan as the Diplomat for UN.
