Born on 25 April 1947, Hendrik Johannes Cruyff is the player whom people call Johann Cruyff. People regard him as the father of total football that FC Barcelona has made famous worldwide.

If you want to look at the career of one player, who had done it all then Johann Cruyff is the man you are looking for. He started his career as a Young player in 1957 for Ajax. He debuted for the senior team in 1964 and went on to serve the club with distinction until 1973 when he moved to Barcelona for the fee of $2 million approximately.

Before moving to Barcelona, he won every single honor that there was to win for his club Ajax. He won eight Eredivisie titles with his club Ajax in his stay at the club. In his first stint, Ajax won every single Eredivise title from 1966 to 1973.

The only year they did not win was in 1970 when Cruyff was out with a groin injury. He also won five KNVB cups, three European championships from 1971 to 1973, the Intercontinental cup in 1972, and 2 UEFA Super cups in 1972 and 1973.

After his move to Barcelona, he won one La Liga and one Copa Del Ray title before he went to North America on a lucrative deal. He came back to Europe in 1981 and rejoined Ajax in 1982 to win two titles in 1982 and 1983. He also won a title for Feyenoord before retiring from football.
