Born on the 19th of April, 1972, Rivaldo was a professional football player from Brazil. He was the player who last played for Kabuscorp in Angola. His position in the team is the attacking midfielder or a supporting striker.

His father Romildo died in a road accident in the year 1989 however, the year marked him to sign his first professional contract. Rivaldo was also inducted into the Brazilian Football Museum Hall of Fame.

He debuted for the Brazilian football team in the year 1993 in a friendly match against Mexico in which he managed to score a goal. For 5 years he played for FC Barcelona, a Spanish club, and during this time he won the Spanish La Liga Championship in the years 1998 and 1999. He also won Copa del Rey in 1998.

In ten years between 1993 to 2003, Rivaldo appeared in 74 matches and made 34 goals for his team. He was also considered to be a major player of the winning team in the FIFA World Cup 2002.

The player’s extraordinary performance earned him distinction to become the top scorer of the tournament of Copa America having 5 goals to his credit among which one was an equalizer over a 2-1 win against Argentina in the quarter-final match.

He was referred to be the Most Valuable Player in that tournament as well. His career-high performance was in the 2002 FIFA World Cup in which he scored in the first 5 matches of the team. He was named by that time coach Luiz Felipe Scolari to be the best player in the entire tournament.
