Alexis Alejandro Sanchez more commonly known as Alexis Sanchez is a 22-year-old Chilean footballer who currently played football for the Italian football club Udinese (now transferred to Barcelona FC). His preferred position is playing upfront as a striker and he stands at 1.70 meters.

Sanchez started his career at Cobreloa first playing for their youth team from 03-04 then making it into their senior team from 05-06. He made a total of 42 appearances for Cobreloa scoring 12 goals in total.

In 2006 he made his move down to Udinese football club who he’s represented 95 times scoring 20 goals. During his time at Udinese, he was sent on loan twice first to Colo-Colo in 2006 where he made 32 appearances scoring only 3 times then in 2007-2008 to River Plate where he played 23 times scoring 4 goals.

It’s at Udinese in 10/11 where he gained popularity and interest from other European clubs with Barcelona football club finalizing his transfer. Sanchez is a small, fast but powerful striker whose great pace gives him an edge against his opponents along with his conviction and clinical finishing he’s one of the brightest prospects in football at the moment.

He’s also represented Chile at the international level and on the U-20 level where he helped Chile secure third place in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and has scored 14 goals in 40 international games in the senior level for Chile. He used to wear the number 7 shirt for Udinese.
