Jennifer Lopez started her career as a dancer and appeared in a TV program titled “In Living Color” as well as in “South Central”, before venturing into movies. Her first ever movie was an action packed thriller titled “Money Train” co-starring Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes among others. In 1996, she did a movie titled “Jack” with Robin Williams, followed by “Blood and Wine”.
Her role in “Selena” earned her widespread recognition and fame as an actress and she won her first ever Golden Globe Award nomination in the category for Best Actress. “Anaconda” was another movie she appeared in, along with Jon Voight and “Ice Cube” chasing a gigantic Anaconda in Amazon River.
Her most critically acclaimed role came in 1998, in “Out of Sight” co-starring George Clooney; it was followed by “The Wedding” Planner co-starring Matthew McConaughey.

Other movies that added to her reputation as a versatile and multi-talented actress include “Angel Eyes”, “Enough”, “An Unfinished Life”, “Shall We Dance?”, “Monster-in-Law” and “Maid in Manhattan” which proved to be a big box office hit.
Her other movie appearance was in “The Back-up Plan” released in 2010. She is counted among the most highest-paid actresses of Hollywood industry.
