FIFA World cup 2018 is scheduled from June 16 to July 15, 2018. It is being hosted in Russia. This tournament has 8 groups, with 4 teams in each group. A total of 32 teams are participating.
The first set of games will be round-robin within each group, where each team will play every other team in the group once. The top two teams of every group will qualify for the knock out round.
A total of 16 teams will qualify in the round of 16 or the first knock out round of World Cup Football 2018. 8 teams will proceed to the quarter-finals from this round of 16.
Winners of the quarter-finals will play semi-finals of the World Cup football 2018. There will be two finalists and one winner. Let’s see who lifts the trophy this time around.
There are some teams like defending champion Germany or the team with most football world cup trophies won so far, that is, Brazil, France, Argentina, and Spain who have better chances to win the world cup. However, it is a sport and you never know who will win.
