Based in the city of Dundee, Scotland, Dundee United football club is one of the most famous Scottish football clubs that was formed in 1909. Initially known as Dundee Hibernian the club is normally known as ‘The Terrors’ amongst its fans.
The club plays in the Scottish Premier League (SPL) and plays their home games at the Tannadice Park which has a capacity of just over 14,000. The home kit is an exciting mixture of tangerine and black whereas the away kits are a refreshing mixture of black and white. Dundee United football club got a financial scare earlier in their years of formation but a group of local businessmen came to their rescue in 1923.
Dundee United’s most successful era came under the courageous leadership of their manager Jim Mclaren who took over the club in 1971 and helped them achieve many accolades. The club is known for its aggressive style of football and has produced several great strikers who have eventually played for other big named European clubs.
