Hulk whose real name is Givanildo Vieria De Souza is a 24-year-old Brazilian born (25 July 1986) footballer who plays his football for the Portuguese club, FC Porto.

He commonly plays as a striker but can also play as a winger on either of the wings he stands in at 1.78 meters (5 feet 10 inches). Hulk started his senior career in 2004 for club Vitoria.

He only played for them once before going on loan to Japanese club Kawasaki Frontale on loan making 9 appearances during this loan term and scoring 1 goal.

He made his move to Kawasaki Frontale permanent in 2006 and stayed there till 2008 but spent much of his time there on loan for Consadole Sapporo and then Tokyo Verdy.

After his brilliant goals to games ratio for Tokyo Verdy, they decided to buy him permanently in 2008 but he stayed for less than a year after getting interested from Portuguese giants FC Porto he made his move permanent to FC Porto in 2008 and has stayed with them ever since.

He’s won the Portuguese league twice with Porto but his biggest achievement came in 2010-2011 where he helped the club win The UEFA Europa League. He was also named Portuguesa League Player of The Year in 2010-2011.

Hulk is known for his fast dribbling skills and his upper body strength along with his clinical but ruthless finishing which makes him great as a forward and as a winger. He’s also represented Brazil 3 times.
