Kevin Norwood Bacon is a renowned theatre and film actor of United States of America. He was born on 8th July, 1958 in Pennsylvania, United States of America. He has various successful movies to his credit including “Wild Things”, “A Few Good Men”, “Apollo 13” and “Hollow Man”.

Early Career

At the age of 17, Kevin Bacon started his acting career as a theater actor, appearing in number of plays in New York. In 1978, he appeared in his first movie titled “Animal House”, which couldn’t garner any success and as a result Kevin Bacon returned to theater and TV. The movie “Diner” marked his return to films and this time round he succeeded to get the attention his acting talent deserved.

Following year, he appeared in another hit film titled “Footloose”, which earned him more roles. He appeared in various movies including “The Big Picture”, “She’s Having a Baby”, “Tremors” and “He Said, She Said” before appearing in “A Few Good Men”, which helped him establish his name as a versatile actor. In 1994, he appeared in “The River Wild” alongside Meryl Streep and earned critical acclaim for his performance.
