Bollywood awards are grooming fast and Filmfare awards are no exception. 53rd Filmfare Awards were held in 2008. The award ceremony was colorful and most of the Indian film stars attended this show.
Aamir Khan, one of the leading actors from the famous Khan trio of Bollywood missed these awards as usual. Although Aamir Khan’s movie had earned many nominations, he still didnt take part in the award shows like many years in past. Bollywood’s 53rd Filmfare in 2oo8 thus had “Taare Zammen par” but aamir was missed!
India’s most prestigious awards, Filmfare Awards were held at Yash Raj Studios and hosted by Saif Ali Khan and Shahrukh Khan. The Times Group and Idea Cellular presented these awards. Taare Zameen Par and Guru received the most number of awards. Om Shanti Om was the most nominated movie of the year.
