Almost after a year Sadia was seen on the TV in a tea commercial. Her good looks and acting talents made the people sit up and notice her and soon offers for doing plays came pouring down. Sadia made her debut in the popular drama serial Uljhan from Karachi; directed by Kazim Pasha, Sadia shone in that serial although her character was negative.
With careful and wise selection of roles Sadia quickly climbed the ladder of success. The introduction of private channels only made her more popular. She has directed and produced plays herself; her directorial debut Tapish was well liked by the people.
Acting and directing plays runs in the family as her elder sister Aliyah Imam does comic roles and has also directed plays. Saza was the first play directed by Aliyah. Another directorial venture Sirf Aik Baar went down well with the audience.
