Hollywood’s Michael Andrew Fox, popularly known as Michael J. Fox is a Canadian-American TV and Film actor, author and producer. He was born on 9th June, 1961 in Alberta, Canada and started his career in 1977. He is known for his roles in movies like “Back to the Future” Trilogy and “Spin City”. He is the recipient of two Golden Globe Awards, Two Screen Actors Guild Awards and an Emmy Award.

Early Career

He made his debut movie appearance in 1980, playing the role of Scott Larson in “Midnight Madness”. In 1982, he landed a role in another movie titled Class of 1984 and made his presence felt, as an actor. J. Fox became popular with his TV appearances in “Spin City” and “Family Ties”. In 1985, he appeared in his first breakthrough performance in the super hit movie of 1985 titled “Back to the Future”. He played the role of Marty Mcfly, which earned his critical acclaim. Following the success of “Back to the Future”, he appeared in leading roles in movies like “The Secret of my Success” in 1987, “Bright Lights”, “Big City” in 1988 and “Causalities of War” in 1989, before reprising his role in “Back to the Future Part II”, released in 1989.
