Lady Jayne Seymour Fonda, well known as Jane Fonda is a film producer, actress, fashion model, political activist and a writer of United States of America.

She was born on 21st December, 1937 in New York. During her years as an actress, she has worked in so many movies and received two Academy Awards as well as numerous other awards and nominations.

Career Highlights
Jane Fonda started her career as a fashion model but in 1954 she took interest in acting and appeared in a stage play “The Country Girl”. After some stage performances, she appeared in her debut movie titled “Tall Story” in 1960.

In 1962, she appeared in “Walk on the Wild Side” and “Period of Adjustment”. She won critical acclaim for her role in “Walk on the Wild Side” and become a star overnight. She continued to get leading roles in movies like “Sunday in New York”, “Any Wednesday”, “Barefoot in the Park” and “Barbarella”.

She played different roles with majestic grace and as a result she landed a role in a commercial blockbuster movie titled “Klute”, which won her Academy Award for best actress.

Jane Fonda started her career in 1960 and received Golden Globe nomination for best actress for movie titled “Period of Adjustment” in 1962. In 1969, she earned Kansas City Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress for “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?”, followed by an Academy and Golden Globe award for best actress for her role in “Klute”.

In 1977, she received many awards and nominations for the movie “Julia”. Similarly, she won numerous nominations for movies including “Any Wednesday”, “The China Syndrome”, “On Golden Pond” and “The Morning After”. In 1978, she won another Academy Award for her outstanding performance in “Coming Home”.
