Lee Thompson Young was an American actor known for his role in the Television series “The Famous Jett Jackson” aired on Disney Channel. He was born on 1st February, 1984 in South Carolina, United States of America. This young talent committed suicide on 19th August, 2013 in Los Angeles.

Early Career

Lee Thompson Young started his career in 1999, appearing on the famous Disney Channel series “The Famous Jett Jackson”. In the same year, he made his debut movie appearance in the movie titled “Johnny Tsunami”, playing the role of Sam Sterling. The movie although received mixed reviews but brought him into the limelight.

In 2001, Lee Thompson Young appeared in the “Jett Jackson: The Movie”, which received mixed reviews. His next movie appearance came in 2004 in the movie titled “Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story”, in which he played the role of Charles Becnel. In 2004, he landed a role in “Friday Night Lights”, followed by another major role in “Akeelah and the Bee”.
