Madeleine Stowe started her acting career from theater, appearing at the “Beverly Hills” theater play. She caught the attention of a movie agent, who brought her many TV and film offers.

In 1978, she appeared in her debut TV appearance in an episode of “Baretta”, followed by a number of appearances in various plays and TV movies. In 1987, she appeared in her debut feature film titled “Stakeout” co-starring Emilio Estevez and Richard Dreyfuss.
