Danny Lebern Glover is American TV and Film actor and a film producer, known for his roles in movies like “The Color Purple”, “Predator 2”, “Witness”, “Lethal Weapon” and “2012”. He was born on 22nd July, 1946 in California, United States of America and started his career in 1979.

Early Career

Danny Glover started his movie career in 1979, playing the role of Inmate in “Escape from Alcatraz”. In 1984, he appeared in “Iceman” and “Places in the Heart”, which brought him into the limelight. In 1985, he appeared in his first major role in “Witness”, which brought him critical acclaim and a role in two back to back commercially successful movie titled “The Color Purple” in 1985 and “Lethal Weapon” in 1987.

In 1990, he appeared in an award-winning role of Harry in the movie titled “To Sleep with Anger” and played the leading role in “Predator 2”. In 90s, he appeared in several movies including “Angels in the Outfield”, “The Rainmaker”, “Gone Fishing”, “Beloved” and “Switchback” and reprised his role in “Lethal Weapon 4”.
