4th Pakistan Media Awards 2014
The 4th Pakistan Media Awards 2014 were held at Expo Center Karachi to acknowledge the contributions of the individuals in entertainment industry in the years 2012 and 2013.
Online voting played a major role in the selection of winners. Shamoon Abbasi and Faisal Qureshi hosted the star studded mega event.

2nd Hum Award 2014
The colorful ceremony of the 2nd Hum Awards was held at the Expo Center Karachi to award the outstanding personalities in drama, fashion and music category.
The ceremony was hosted by Meekal Zulfiqar, Sanam Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Sanam Jung and Vasay Chaudry while dance performances by Shehroze Subzwari, Shai Ali Abro, Mehwish Hayat, Ahsan Khan and senior actors Bushra Ansari and Jawed Sheikh.
Zindagi Gulzar Hai made a clean sweep with nine awards including best drama, best actor, best actress and best on-screen couple. Lifetime achievement award was presented to Zia Mohyedin while Bushra Ansari received the Hum Honorary TV Award.
Bilal Lashari and Humayun Saeed were also awarded for their movies Waar and Main Hoon Shahid Afridi that brought audiences back to Pakistani movies.
1st ARY Film Awards 2014
The 1st ARY Film Awards were held at the DHA Golf Club Karachi in recognition of the outstanding services provided by the film industry in the year 2013. A large number of TV and film personalities attended the show which was the biggest film award show in the history of Pakistani film industry.
TV actors entertained the audience with dance performances while movie actors also performed on songs from their upcoming movies. Big names from the film industry such as Barbra Sharif, Saima and Noor also performed on popular songs much to the delight of the audience.
Film Waar was clearly the outstanding movie of 2013 as awards in all categories save few as best film, best actor, best actress, best directors, best supporting actor, best supporting actress and best debut performance (female) went to Waar.
13th Lux Style Awards
Lux style awards are considered to be the most glamorous and eagerly awaited awards of the year; however the 13th Lux Style Awards was a quiet affair. The recipients from TV, film, music and fashion received their awards in a simple ceremony held at the Movenpick Ballroom Karachi.
Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed won the Best Actor and Actress Satellite award for Zindagi Gulzar Hai while Ahsan Khan and Mirajuddin and Mehwish Hayat and Yamina Peerzada were judged best actors and actresses for Terrestrial TV.
