Ali Zafar is another young and talented Pakistani singer whose singing abilities have been recognized outside Pakistan as well. Fondly known as the “Prince of Pop”, Ali Zafar has experimented in modeling and acting as well. He is a successful model and a good actor.

He is also a producer, screenwriter and a painter. He was born on 18th May, 1980 in Lahore.

Ali Zafar’s first album “Huqa Pani” was launched in Pakistan in 2003 and in the international market in 2005. The album sold like hot cakes and Ali Zafar became another shining star who had put his country on the forefront in the world of music.

Ali’s voice and singing style was often compared to Kishore Kumar’s the legendary Indian singer. But over the years his voice has matured and he has more control over the notes.

Recently in “Coke Studio Sessions”, Ali Zafar displayed his singing prowess by rendering difficult and different type of songs. Ali Zafar’s second album “Masti” was also well received by the people. Ali has received many awards for his music.

These days Ali is more popular because of his lead role in an Indian movie “Tere Bin Laden”. Ali has also sung the songs of the movie. Ali Zafar attained fame and success at a young age but this is just a stepping stone; more glories await him. Ali Zafar has worked in two other movies.

The Yash Raj Banner movie “Mere brother ki dulhan” was a big hit where he has shared the screen with Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. His latest film from Indian platform is “London, Paris, New York”. This movie is also doing well on the box office. His recent films include; Dear Zindagi, Lahore Se Aagey and Teefa in Trouble. He has won a total of 34 awards.
